Meet the Mechanic
Most folks call me “Wrenchy.” And yeah, if it’s got wheels and gears, I can fix it.
I started this whole thing in late 2024, wrenching on bikes for friends in my garage. What began as a side hustle exploded into something bigger than I ever imagined. Within a year, I quit my day job and went all-in.
Here’s the origin story: I grew up covered in grease and sawdust. My old man was always elbow-deep in some project—fixing the house, building furniture, tinkering with his small airplane. I was the kid handing him tools, soaking up every skill he’d teach me. Aviation runs in my blood. We built model planes together, then I graduated to helping him work on the real deal.
My parents used to joke, “We know how much you like your projects.” Translation: I couldn’t leave anything broken. Still can’t.
The big leap happened while I was pulling double duty— days at another bike shop, nights and weekends wrenching in my own garage. Word spread fast. One side gig repair turned into ten, then fifty. Suddenly I had a waitlist and a garage that looked like a bike explosion. That’s when Wrenchy’s became real.
My mission is dead simple: get more people on bikes without draining their bank accounts. You shouldn’t need to sell a kidney to ride. Whether you’re broke, flush, or somewhere in between, Wrenchy’s keeps you rolling.
See you in the shop.
